ProRTX RX351 ‘Pro zip hoodie’ Review

Our favourite affordable workwear brand, Pro RTX has added several new garments to their workwear range for 2023, but the one we’re the most excited for is the RX351 zip up version of their popular pull over hoodie.

The Pro RTX garments are always our go to recommendation for durable, comfortable every-day workwear, yet it’s always been frustrating to have to mix a different brand into a uniform when customers want zip-up hoodies.

With the addition of the zip-up hoodie and long sleeve T-shirt to the Pro RTX garment offering, you can now kit yourself out in head to toe workwear from the same brand in all seasons.

Whats good about the Pro RTX hoodie?

It’s a good weight for most the year – At 300gsm it’s not our thickest hoodie but it’s warm enough on its own and also comfortable to layer without feeling restricted.

This one is a personal preference, but I’m a fan of a flat chunky draw string cord – which is what the RX351 has (Compare it to the JH001).

The whole ProRTX range washes well without shrinkage. The AWDis hoodies are great for colour range but they do have a tendency to get shorter after a few washes. We haven’t had the same problem with the ProRTX.

Cons

The new Pro RTX RX351 zip up hoodie is currently only available in 3 colours (Black, Charcoal & Navy) so far, but hopefully they will add more to the offering next year. Pro RTX have just added 2 more colours to their t-shirts for 2023 so I’m sure the colour range will get expanded.
