Our etched vinyl gives a sandblasted / frosted look to your glass windows or doors, providing privacy day and night, whilst still allowing natural light through. The etched finish will make your glass translucent to the point where only basic shapes can be seen, hiding valuables, clutter or activity.
In homes, privacy film is widely used to replace net curtains. By applying it on the bottom half of your windows, you can achieve the privacy you need where it matters.
In offices, it is also ideal for glass room dividers in meeting rooms. A range of patterns and designs can be added to the etched film.

Types of customisation
Our standard etched glass window film is a premium frosted window film with a subtle colouring and slight sparkle finish giving it a realistic frosted glass look which allows 80% of natural light through.
Lighter and heavier opacities are also available, along with a range of colours.
Layer up with Decals
Branded with maximum privacy
The way etched privacy film works, if something is up close behind it, you can see it through the etch. This means if we layer a dark colour vinyl behind the etch, you’ll see it on the other side. Due to the etched vinyl, the colour is subtle but it looks really smart when the lights are on inside, making your window look like an illuminated lightbox.
Glass Manifestation
Etched vinyl is also an important safety tool to bring subtle visibility to panels of glass that could be walked into.
Glass Manifestation is a legality used to ensure glass meets legal health & safety requirements that require glazing to be made visible.

How to care for your window film after installation
Window film is very easy to look after and you can keep it clean with soapy water – no special products required!
Caring for printed films or films with cut-outs
Extra care must be taken when cleaning films which have been cut out and have exposed edges. Gently clean with a soft cloth only, and take particular care around the cut areas. Do not rub too hard or use a squeegee as it could damage the print or your cut film.
